A couple news items you may be interested in:   Cakewalk has released Sonar 8.3.1 and now 8.5 as well.  8.3.1 is free to registered Sonar 8 users.  It contains not only bug fixes for previous 8.x releases but also additional new features and new sounds for Dimension Pro and Session Drummer 2.  You can read the official release here:  Sonar 8.3.1 Sonar 8.5 has been released, and while it seems like only a point release, there are tons of new features, bug fixes, and feature enhancements.  This could have been called Sonar 9 but Cakewalk changed their internal versioning, so it’s like a new version usually would be.  This is not a free upgrade (unless you purchased Sonar 8 in a certain time frame, but the upgrade cost has been reduced from the usual price.  In my opinion, the extra that you get are worth the upgrade cost. Roland TDW20 Expansion Card is Incredible Sure, it’s not everything to everyone, but it sure brings a lot of new stuff to the table.  New sounds, new ambience effects, better sensitivity and a load of other things.  Check out the VDrums Page on this site for more info.  You will find video examples, tips for recording, and maybe even some downloadable kits for your TD-20.
